The recent visit of Monsieur Emmanuel Macron, President of France, to Nigeria in July 2018 is, in fact, a sign of a strong interest in promoting trade, business, and social ties between both countries, with a focus on private sector involvement across strategic sectors.
Premised on this, Spotlight Nigeria 2018, which is about the last major event this year in the series of France-Nigeria engagements will provide a platform for companies to close partnership deals, and will feature a number of government-backed incentives, access to funding and export credits to support trade between the private sectors of both countries.
The sectors of focus include Agribusiness, Manufacturing and Processing, Energy, Real Estate and Hospitality, Fast Moving Consumer Goods(FMCG), Digital Technology, Creative Industry, Education and Capacity Building.
